Chemainus Theatre Academy Presents:
The Golden Age of Broadway - Musical Theatre Intensive
Join us for a weekend intensive where we will explore, study, and perform songs and scenes from the Golden Era of the Broadway Musical. Participants will have the opportunity to hone their singing, dancing, and acting skills through songs and scenes from two musicals that changed the landscape of the genre, The Sound of Music and Oklahoma!
This weekend intensive will be led by industry professionals and Chemainus Theatre Festival's new Artistic Associates, Melissa Young and John Han. At the end of the weekend, participants will have the opportunity to see Little Women at the Chemainus Theatre.
Who: 10-18 year old participants with some previous theatre/performance experience
Where: Chemainus Theatre Festival Production Centre (9574 Bare Point Rd.)
When: Saturday, December 1st 9am - 3pm Sunday, December 2nd 9am - 5pm
Registration Fee: $175 ($183.75 including GST)
